 catering order.\n\nAbstract\n\nThe diagnosis of psychiatric disorders ofte
 n relies on clinician’s interviews and self-reported questionnaires. The
 se techniques suffer from inter-observer variability and are often affecte
 d by communication difficulties. Analysis of visual scanning patterns is a
  method that can help to objectively characterise patients with psychiatri
 c disorders. A series of paradigms and methods that are based on the analy
 sis of visual scanning behaviour in patients with mood disorders\, eating 
 disorders and Alzheimer disease will be presented.\n\nBiography\n\nDr. Eiz
 enman is a professor of ophthalmology and vision sciences\, biomedical eng
 ineering and electrical engineering at the University of Toronto and an as
 sociate scientist in the neuroscience institute at the Toronto Western Hos
 pital. Dr. Eizenman received his Ph.D. in Electrical and biomedical Engine
 ering from the University of Toronto in 1984 and his research interests in
 clude: gaze estimation systems\, control of eye movements\, biomarkers for
  neurological and psychiatric disorders and advanced signal processing and
  machine learning. Dr. Eizenman served on grant reviewing committees for t
 he NIH\, NASA\, NSERC and CIHR and he authored or coauthored more than 200
  peer-reviewed publications. Prof. Eizenman is the founder of EL-MAR Inc.\
