Elisa Kwon received her B.A.Sc. in Engineering Science at U of T, with a specialization in energy systems. An interest in the implementation, adoption, and policy side of clean energy led to an interest in encouraging environmental behavior at the individual level. Her MASc research in the Psychology-Informed Engineering Design Lab (Director: Prof. Li Shu) explored the sustainable reuse of retired wind-turbine blades with Prof. Aimy Bazylak (Director of the Institute of Sustainable Energy) and collaborators in Germany, and the use of visual stimuli in divergent thinking with Dr. Jennifer Ryan (Baycrest’s Rotman Research Institute and Reva James Leeds Chair in Neuroscience and Research Leadership).
