Sophia Jiang graduated with a BASc in Chemical Engineering with a specialization in Energy and Environmental Systems and Processes from the University of Waterloo. Her interest in developing clean solutions for environmental challenges led to an MASc in the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering and the Collaborative Specialization in Psychology and Engineering. Sophia’s MASc research focused on overcoming psychological barriers in developing creative concepts that address environmental problems, after which she became a Conservation Analyst at Newmarket-Tay Power Distribution Ltd.
