You are invited to a panel-session lunch by and for engineering researchers who identify as women, to engage in a candid discussion and share new strategies with each other.

Panelists include current and recent MIE PhD students:

  • Marina Freire-Gormaly, PhD
  • Onaizah Onaizah
  • Sai Wang

Additional panelists / organizers include Prof. Karon Maclean from UBC, the MIE DSS speaker on Friday, April 12, and MIE Prof. Li Shu.

Panelists will start by sharing some of their experiences, followed by participant questions and additional insights on topics particularly relevant to women engineering researchers, including:

  • Being heard, literally and figuratively
